To disconnect your DIRECTV from the internet, follow these steps:
1. Using the DIRECTV Receiver Remote:
– Turn on your DIRECTV receiver.
– Press the “Menu” button on your remote.
– Scroll to and select “Settings & Help”.
– Choose “Settings”.
– Scroll down and select “Network”.
– Choose “Advanced Settings”.
– You should see an option to “Disconnect from the Internet”. Select it to disconnect.
2. Unplugging the Ethernet Cable (if wired):
– If your DIRECTV is connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable, simply unplug the Ethernet cable from the back of the receiver.
3. Disconnecting Wi-Fi (if wireless):
– If your DIRECTV receiver is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, you can turn off the Wi-Fi by following the steps above to go to Network settings.
– Look for an option to “Forget Network” or “Disable Wi-Fi”.
