To turn off subtitles on DirecTV, follow these steps:
1. Press the “Menu” button on your DirecTV remote.
2. Navigate to Settings & Help using the arrow keys and select it.
3. Go to Settings and select Display.
4. Find the option for Closed Captioning and select it.
5. Set Closed Captioning to Off.
Alternatively, you can press the Info button on your remote while watching a program, and in the menu that appears, you may see an option to toggle subtitles or closed captioning.
If you’re using the DirecTV Stream app, the process may be slightly different but can usually be found in the video player settings or accessibility options.
