To watch recorded shows on DIRECTV, follow these steps:
1. Turn on your DIRECTV receiver and TV.
– Ensure your DIRECTV receiver is connected to your TV and powered on.
2. Access the Menu.
– Using your remote control, press the Menu button.
3. Select the “Recordings” Option.
– In the menu, navigate to and select the “Recordings” option. This is where you will find all your recorded shows.
4. Browse Your Recorded Shows.
– Once you are in the Recordings section, you should see a list of all shows you’ve recorded. You can scroll through the list using the arrow buttons on your remote.
5. Choose the Show to Watch.
– Highlight the show you want to watch and press the Select button on your remote.
6. Playback the Recording.
– The recorded show will begin playing. You can use the pause, fast-forward, or rewind buttons on your remote to control playback.
7. Delete or Manage Recordings (Optional).
– After watching a recorded show, you can choose to delete it or manage it further, such as organizing shows into folders.
If you’re using DIRECTV’s Genie system, this process is very similar. If you have multiple receivers or access to the DIRECTV app, you might also be able to stream recorded shows remotely on compatible devices.
