Discovering the Geographical Gem- The Exact Location of Saint Kitts Unveiled
Where is Saint Kitts Located?
Saint Kitts, officially known as Saint Kitts and Nevis, is a twin-island country located in the Leeward Islands of the West Indies, in the Caribbean Sea. Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean to the east and the Caribbean Sea to the west, this picturesque archipelago is part of the larger Windward Islands chain. The country is situated approximately 2,100 miles (3,400 kilometers) east of the Central American mainland and 300 miles (480 kilometers) south of Puerto Rico. With a total land area of around 261 square kilometers (101 square miles), Saint Kitts is the larger of the two islands that make up the nation, while Nevis is the smaller, neighboring island to the west. The capital city of Saint Kitts is Basseterre, which serves as the commercial and administrative hub of the country.
