To reset an HP Stream notebook, follow these steps:
1. Reset from Settings (Windows 10 or 11)
– Step 1: Click on the Start menu (Windows icon) in the bottom left corner of the screen.
– Step 2: Select Settings (gear icon).
– Step 3: Click on Update & Security.
– Step 4: Choose Recovery from the left sidebar.
– Step 5: Under the Reset this PC section, click Get started.
– Step 6: Choose one of the reset options:
– Keep my files: This will reinstall Windows while keeping your personal files (e.g., documents, photos).
– Remove everything: This will completely erase all files and settings, returning the computer to factory settings.

2. Reset from Advanced Startup
If you can’t boot into Windows normally, you can try resetting from the Advanced Startup options:

– Step 3: Select Troubleshoot.
