How to Turn Off Lightning Experience in Salesforce

In recent years, Salesforce has introduced the Lightning Experience, which offers a more intuitive and user-friendly interface compared to the classic Salesforce interface. However, some users may prefer the classic interface or may experience performance issues with Lightning. If you’re looking to turn off the Lightning Experience in Salesforce, follow these steps to revert back to the classic interface.

1. Access Salesforce Setup

First, log in to your Salesforce account and navigate to the Setup page. You can do this by clicking on the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the page and selecting “Setup” from the dropdown menu.

2. Search for “Lightning Experience Settings”

In the Setup page, use the search bar to find “Lightning Experience Settings.” This will take you to a page where you can manage various aspects of the Lightning Experience.

3. Select “Personal Settings”

On the Lightning Experience Settings page, click on “Personal Settings” in the left-hand menu. This section allows you to customize your personal settings, including the interface.

4. Turn Off Lightning Experience

Under the “Personal Settings” section, you’ll find a toggle switch labeled “Enable Lightning Experience.” To turn off the Lightning Experience, simply click the switch to the “Off” position. You may be prompted to confirm your choice, so click “Yes” to proceed.
