To find your stream key, you’ll need to access the streaming platform you’re using (like Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, etc.). Here’s how to find the stream key for some of the most popular platforms:
1. Twitch
– Log in to your Twitch account.
– Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select “Creator Dashboard”.
– In the left sidebar, go to “Settings” and select “Stream”.
– Under the “Stream Key & Preferences” section, you’ll see your stream key.
– Click “Show” to reveal the stream key.
– Copy the stream key, and keep it secure (don’t share it with others).
2. YouTube
– Log in to your YouTube account.
– Go to the YouTube Studio by clicking your profile icon and selecting “YouTube Studio”.
– In the left sidebar, click on “Create” and then “Go live”.
– On the Stream tab, you will find your stream key under “Stream Settings”.
– Click “Copy” to copy the key.
3. Facebook
– Log in to your Facebook account.
– Go to the Facebook Live Producer by going to your profile or page and clicking on “Live”.
– Under the Stream Setup section, you’ll see your stream key.
– Copy the stream key.
4. Restream
– Log in to your Restream account.
– In the dashboard, go to the “Destinations” tab.
– Select the platform where you want to stream.
– You’ll see your stream key under “Stream Settings” for the specific platform.
5. Other Platforms (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs)
– If you’re using third-party software like OBS Studio or Streamlabs, the platform will require you to input the stream key you found through the platform’s settings into the software.
– Once you have your stream key, go to Settings > Stream in OBS or Streamlabs and paste the key in the relevant field.
Make sure to keep your stream key private, as anyone with access to it can stream on your account.
